In the Spring Court of Honor, we swore in three new leaders, Riley as SPL, Ethan as ASPL, and Wyatt as Quartermaster. Congrats to them for the elected positions and their commitment to lead us for a year. Thanks to outgoing SPL Adam, ASPL Steven, and Quartermaster Joe. With a record number of troop members at 67 scouts, we had a record number of pancake customers of 510. Miraculously all the diners came evenly through 7a to 12p without massive waits in line. All dishwashers, bus boys, recycle composters, bake sale scouts, greeters, pancake flippers, sausage scouts each worked swiftly as needed. Thank you parents for supporting the busy morning. Thank you to Starbucks for the Passionfruit Tea, Milk, and Coffee. Thank you to West End Florist for the table flowers. Thank you to outgoing chair Ms. Hancock as well as Ms. Phenany and Ms. Rayment for working on the committee for Pancake Breakfast. We scaled the rock face like Spiderman. Well, we had ropes, but it was exhilarating dangling in the air. Scouts believe in being physically fit so this is one of the many physically fit activities in the Boy Scout handbook. Tenderfoot 6a requires situps, pushups, sit and reach, and 1 mile runs.
